Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her fiance, jewellery tycoon Raj Kundra have announced that they will be marrying in the latter half of the year. Shilpa first came to fame in UK when she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and had that now legendary spat with Jade Goody; the pair became friends before Goody’s untimely death last month.

The couple had been dating for nearly two years, so Shilpa has confirmed that she is not looking for a long engagement. The Daily Mail has reported that the pair is planning to marry in October later this year.

“I’ve always said that the day I decide to tie the knot it is going to be for good. I have often wondered who the right person would be and I’ve come to realise that for me it is Raj. I’m completely sure he is my soul mate,” Shilpa has reportedly said.

Kundra has been married before however he has been heard to say that he and Shilpa will still have a wedding in a traditional Indian style. “We have definitely set a date for this year,” Kundra commented.
