There are plenty of ways to assess a person’s personality, such as the way they write, their tone of voice and their body language. However, there is a new way to assess a man’s personality by the shoes he wears. It may not be scientifically proven, but it does seem to work.
The main key to assessing an individual’s personality is dependant upon the condition, maintenance and the material. You see, according to the founder of the idea, Sozio, the material represents his ‘outer skin’. For instance, the shoes may be distressed, shiny or lacklustre. The shoes may be made from flexible or soft fabric or may be easily scratched; alternatively they may be made from a hard leather, not very malleable.
Sozio says:
“Perhaps he only has soft, easily scuffed suede shoes. That would indicate that he has a high level of sensitivity and he’s easily hurt. Or if all his shoes are made with stiff and rigid material, he may be trying to protect himself or have put up a wall to his heart.
“Condition trumps price every time. It’s not about how much you have. It’s about putting your best foot forward with what you do have. That is what gets you where you want to go, especially in a relationship. A no-name shoe in good condition speaks more highly of a man than a dirty, falling-apart Gucci loafer.”
The maintenance of the shoe is the final indication as to how he will treat you. Shoes need to be looked after and care for; so do partners. If the shoes need repairing, would he complain about it; would he go straight to the cobblers and get is sorted, or would he just leave it and let it get worse until the shoes fell apart and have to be thrown out. All of which are indications of how he would react in a relationship situation.
